Qualified at Cologne University Hospital in 1996 and has been a partner since 2003. He has a special interest in teaching and has introduced the training of medical students at Linden Hall Surgery. He is also a board member of the GP Clinical Commissioning Group and Chairman of the Clinical Forum of the Clinical Commissioning Group. He takes a keen interest in photography and has four children.
