General Action Plan

The feedback on the physical environment and the doctor consultation was very positive throughout, there were no significant issues identified.

General Comments:

The free text comments where mostly very positive.

Some people commented on problems to get through to the nurse to obtain test results. There is a dedicated phone number for results, and patients are advised to ring between 1-2 or 5-6 pm.

Actions:

  • The telephone system will be updated to re-direct phone calls on the result phone line to the receptionists if the nurse is on the phone or unavailable.
  • The receptionists will be trained to access results and inform patients of normal results. If the results are abnormal they will take a contact number and go on a list for the nurse to ring them back.
